EDURUN 2023 – RUN FOR EDUCATION

EDURUN 2023 – RUN FOR EDUCATION organized by Vinschool Education System will officially kick off from April 3, 2023 to April 23, 2023. After a 9-year journey with the mission of building a meaningful volunteer activity for the community, promoting an active spirit and health awareness, this year’s EDURUN continues to call for the participation of all runners. Join us in conquering many achievement milestones to contribute to the charity fund of EDURUN 2023, while overcoming your own barriers, forming and improving the habit of exercising and doing sports.

PROGRAM RULES

1. Participant eligibility

    • Parents and Students of Vinschool.
    • Teachers and Staff of Vinschool.
    • Sports lovers, especially runners who wish their run to contribute to the community.

2. How to participate

Participants should register an account on the online running platform 84RACE. Install the app Strava and connect the account to 84RACE-STRAVE to sync daily runs across electronic devices and synthesize data online.

Participants can join Running Events organized at independent campuses (More detailed information will be revealed later on at different campuses).

3. Forms of donation to the Charity Fund of EDURUN 2023

    • Register for a running account:

Participants register a personal account on the official microsite of the race on 84RACE.

Registration fee: 50.000 VNĐ/ account.

All money from the registration will be donated to the Charity Fund of EDURUN 2023.

    • Donate online:

Participants can contribute to the charity fund of EDURUN 2023 with an amount of their choice via bank transfer to:

    • Donate directly:

Participants can donate directly to the Charity Fund of EDURUN 2023 at running events organized by independent campuses or donate to the Donation Box at the reception area of the campus throughout EDURUN 2023 challenge time.

    • Donate by buying EDURUN 2023 T-shirt (Finished):

Parents register to buy EDURUN T-shirts with the homeroom teacher. Each EDURUN T-shirt sold will contribute 50.000 VNĐ to the Charity Fund of EDURUN 2023.

4. Record the results

    • A valid activity is running/walking with a limit of 1km between 3 minutes 30 seconds – 15 minutes and is synced to the system during the challenge period.
    • During the period from April 3, 2023 to April 23, 2023, participants need to complete a minimum distance of 2 km for each activity to be recognized by the system.
    • Participants will be recognized for their achievements through the leaderboard on 84Race. The participant’s achievement ranking will be made based on 2 criteria in order of importance:

– Highest total number of kilometres achieved.

– Lowest average speed (Average Pace).

    • The organizers only record the results that have been successfully synced from Strava to 84RACE.
    • Only one Strava account can be linked per account.
    • The activity must be measured with a device with GPS and map display when connected to Strava. Strava results need to be publicly posted (can be seen by everyone).

5. Prizes and awards

    • Prizes for individuals who conquer the stages on the online running platform:

During the challenge time, participants can accumulate achievements and strive to conquer the earliest milestones to have the opportunity to receive gifts from the Organizing Committee (Limited quantity):

– The “Will” award for the Top 500 individuals to conquer the 50 km race: EDURUN 2023 badge.

– The “Endurance” award for the Top 300 individuals to conquer the 80 km race: EDURUN 2023 Hat.

– The “Breakthrough” award for the Top 100 individuals to conquer the 120 km race: EDURUN 2023 medal.

– The “Conqueror” award will be given to an individual with the longest distance run on 84RACE running platform during the race (with heart rate/pace required): 01 voucher worth VND 20,000,000 with a 3 days and 2 nights stay for two people at Vinpearl Phu Quoc/Nha Trang/South Hoi An (Expiration date: December 31, 2023)

    • Prizes for the Photo Contest “EDURUN MOMENT” on Vinschool official Facebook fanpage: Prizes from our sponsors VinFast and Gene Story (Detailed information will be updated on Vinschool official Facebook fanpage).
    • Lucky draw for individuals who complete at least a 2 Km challenge on 84Race

– Direct discount voucher of VND 3,000,000 when buying gene-decoded product packages of our Diamond Sponsor GeneStory.

– Direct discount voucher of VND 2,000,000 when buying car product lines of our Gold Sponsor VinFast.

    • The “Kindness” award for the Top 3 campuses that donate the most in the Vinschool system (Based on the total donation for the Charity Fund of EDURUN 2023 from direct donation, the donation from 84Race account registration and the donation from buying EDURUN T-shirt): EDURUN 2023 Trophy.

6. Terms and Conditions

    • For activities using the “Add Others” function on Strava (also known as Group Activities – Add Playmates, Group Activities), the activity of the person being “Tagged” will be counted as invalid, the system only records the activity of the main participant.
    • Activities entered manually on Strava or using multiple devices at the same time to record achievements will be considered invalid.
    • The Organizing Committee hopes all participants will honour integrity and not cheat. All acts with signs of fraud will be cancelled by the Organizing Committee without prior notice.
    • Each individual will only receive a maximum of 01 prize for the challenge.
    • The content of the rules can be amended and supplemented by the Organizing Committee at any time during the program and will be officially announced on the program’s website channel.
    • The Organizing Committee reserves the right in its sole discretion to terminate or amend the Run or modify the sideline contest rules at any time before the expiration date. Continued participation means acceptance of changes made by the Organizing Committee.
    • In any case of dispute or complaint, the Organizing Committee will settle and have the full right to make the final decision.
    • The Organizing Committee retains the highest judgment on the prize.
    • Participant agrees and commits not to claim, sue or take any legal action, of whatever nature and/or for any purpose, against the Organizing Committee and/or any organization and/or individual related to the EDURUN 2023 and Vinschool Run.
